It may be January and the middle of winter, but it was the most perfect day to head to the beach. We made a spontaneous decision to load everyone up right before nap time (call us crazy) and head to the dog beach. 
Animal people are great people and there were loads of of people here today with their dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. 
Kelsey asked that I photograph the shells she found today - here is one.
Kelsey loves the beach and Johnnie is starting to find his own way, although much of the sand sticks to him in little dallops!

On our way out Johnnie decided he was going to flounder around and prolong the inevitable.
The bike path is great, we are thinking on a upcoming week-end we are going to ride end to end with the kids in their baskets!

It was a great day had by all - as a matter of fact - all are having nap right now except for Mommy!
