Today Kelsey and Juniors day care center celebrated flag day, a little early, but the kids learned a little about the flag and what it stands for. They sang some songs did the pledge of allegiance and participated in a little parade through the school grounds. Kelsey had a blast! 
I remember flag day when I was in elementary school. We always gathered in a big group around the flag pole and we would pledge and listen to the principal talk about the flag. I think in school was pretty much the only place where flag day was celebrated..hmm I should celebrate it more at home.
