Nahant Beach

The New England beaches are so different than the California beaches. One day we decided to take a ride with Auntie and Grandma and we went to the beach two blocks from Aunties house. It was low tide and the water was actually kind of dirty in this section from red tide. This beach is relatively close to the train and bus routes so it gets extremely crowded as you will see.
It was late in the afternoon and it was a slightly windy and somewhat overcast day.
Daddy got in a little metal detecting...as you can see the people on the beach packed. The kids had fun finding seashells they haven't seen before we also found a sac from some shark eggs - empty of course.
Kelsey was very interested in it and hoping there would be something inside but there wasn't.
Checking out the seashore.
Playing in the sand.
Mom relaxing.
On the way home we went out to the Port for a nice seafood dinner.
Everyone was tired and very thirsty.
